Special Issue on Dependable Computing of the IEICE Transaction on Information and Systems

The submission deadline has been extended to January 18, 2013.

The IEICE Transaction on Information and Systems announces a forthcoming issue on Dependable Computing to be published in September 2013. The objective of this issue is to promote the development of the research work on the field of dependable computing. This research filed is important to develop "dependable" systems as computing systems grow huge and complex due to the improvement of the Internet. With the opportunity of the 18th Pacific Rim International Symposium on Dependable Computing (PRDC2012), the 21st Asian Test Symposium(ATS2012) and the 13th Workshop on RTL and High Level Testing (WRTLT2012) held in Niigata, Japan, the papers presented at the Symposiums and workshop are solicited to be submitted for this issue. Other papers, not presented at these Symposiums and workshop, are also welcomed. (Download CFP in PDF)

Special Issue on Recent Advances in Dependable Computing of International Journal of Critical Computer-Based Systems

This special issue is focused on recent progress, ideas, problems and solutions relating to dependable computing and fault tolerant computing. It is intended for academics, practitioners, scientists and engineers who are involved in the areas of dependable computing theories, practical experiment designs, and commercial systems.

The issue will carry revised and substantially extended versions of selected papers presented at the 18th IEEE Pacific Rim International Symposium on Dependable Computing, or in one of its satellite Workshops, Fast Abstracts, Industry Track, but we also strongly encourage researchers unable to participate in the conference to submit papers for this call.
