Industry Track: Call for Submissions

The Industry Track provides a forum for practitioners and researchers from industry to present case studies, experiences, and practices that (1) highlight the important issues and challenges in implementing practical solutions, (2) demonstrate methods and ideas that have been beneficial or have been problematic, and (3) present data useful for further research. All members of industry, including those that partner with academic researchers, are invited to submit a one-page abstract detailing their contribution. Such abstracts should clearly present the specific problem that is addressed, the specific contribution by the authors, a description of the work, and an analysis of the results.

For submissions that are accepted, the authors will be allowed approximately 20-30 minutes to present their work at the PRDC conference. Authors are encouraged to submit as much of their presentation slides as part of their submission, in order to allow reviewers to better evaluate the quality of the submission. The presentation slides should comprise no more than 20 slides, and these slides will be published in the proceedings of the conference. Alternately, authors can submit a paper, no more than 6 pages, for inclusion in the proceedings in place of the slides.

Selection and Notification

Submissions will be reviewed by the Industry Track program committee and evaluated for their relevance to PRDC, the probably interest to the community, and their potential for stimulating further research. Submission of a contribution to the track indicates agreement to have one author present the work, if accepted, at the conference.
